The 2010 Pokémon TCG World Championships is THE Premier Event of the year! Only players who receive invitations via their National Championships, Premier Rating, or performance at the 2009 World Championships are permitted to play in this event. Additionally, top-ranked players in the Last Chance Qualifier will receive an invitation to participate in the 2010 World Championships.
The World Championships return to tropical Hawaii and the Hilton Waikoloa Village on the Big Island of Hawaii in 2010. When the tournament action isn’t heating up inside, competitors and spectators will be able to enjoy some excellent fun around the resort! The Hilton Waikoloa Village has something for everyone, including three swimming pools, golf courses, and of course a picturesque beach. This is one World Championships you won’t want to miss!
Next year’s World Championships take place on Saturday, August 14th, and Sunday, August 15th, with the Last Chance Qualifier kicking off the events on Friday the 13th.
